TMR International Hospital recognises that:

  1. Before people become patients, they need to be informed and empowered in promoting and protecting their own health – The Patients.
  2. There is a need to reach out to all people, to families and community beyond the clinical setting – The Community.
  3. Health workers are people who make up TMR International Hospital, the Human Resource Capital. Their needs MUST be considered, and should be empowered to change the system for the better – The Hospital Staff.

The Ultimate goal of People Centered Care is to create partnerships of equals among the healthcare organizations and partners, practitioners, parents, families and communities that will lead to the best outcomes and enhance the quality and safety of the healthcare services that we provide.

TMR International Hospital appreciates that the patients’ family play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of the patients. Consequently, patients and their families are at the core of everything we do. The Hospital healthcare approach is one that engages both the patient and his/her family, in providing care and services that are responsive to their needs at the same time exceeding their expectations.

  • Understanding and respecting patients’ cultural traditions, their personal preferences and values, their family situation and their lifestyles.
  • Giving patients and their families the opportunity to make choices about many aspects of their care and the healthcare service delivery process.
  • Involving patients and their loved ones as part of the care team, collaborating with healthcare professionals in making clinical decisions about their healthcare services.
  • Ensuring that transitions between healthcare providers, departments and healthcare settings are respectful, coordinated and efficient.
